How Hannah’s Hope Began
Hannah’s Hope began out of love—for Hannah, and because of the love Hannah so naturally gave to others.
Hannah was only a child when her heart for helping others first showed itself. Even at a young age, she would think of people in need. She would feed the homeless and look for ways to bring comfort and kindness to others, often placing their needs above her own. Her compassion was pure, selfless, and inspiring.
As her family, we often reflected on that. If a child like Hannah could care so deeply and give so freely, what was our excuse not to do the same?
After walking closely through Hannah’s cancer journey ourselves, we experienced firsthand what families face when a child is battling cancer—the emotional weight, the financial stress, and the overwhelming uncertainty. We understand the needs because we have lived them.
Out of that experience, and out of Hannah’s example, Hannah’s Hope was born.
We never wanted Hannah’s life or memory to fade. Instead, we made the decision to turn our pain into purpose by giving back—especially to children who need it the most and may not always have a voice. Our hearts are forever with children battling cancer and the families walking that road.
Our mission became simple: to serve families with the same love, care, and compassion that Hannah showed to others. We focus on bringing comfort, encouragement, and moments of joy—things that would have made Hannah smile, lifted her spirit, and given her strength during her own journey.
Every care package, every message of hope, and every act of support is inspired by Hannah’s heart. We think about the things she loved, the things that encouraged her, and the ways we can remind families that they are not alone.
Hannah’s life taught us that even the smallest acts of kindness can make a lasting impact. Hannah’s Hope exists to continue that legacy—one child, one family, and one moment of hope at a time.
Hannah’s Story
Hannah was an only child, a brilliant student, and a deeply compassionate young girl who loved life. She was known for her kindness, her joy for dancing and baking, and her ability to care for others even while facing her own challenges.
On December 19, 2019, Hannah was diagnosed with stage 4 alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma. She courageously fought cancer for one year and five months, showing incredible strength, resilience, and love throughout her journey.
Even during treatment, Hannah’s heart remained focused on others. She often helped feed the homeless, choosing compassion in moments when she was also in pain.
On May 25, 2021, Hannah gained her angel wings after her brave battle with cancer. Though her time here was short, her impact continues to live on in every life she touched.
In her honor, Hannah’s Hope Organization was created to support children battling cancer and their families—so no one walks this journey alone.
Hannah’s light continues to shine through every family we serve.
How We Support Families
At Hannah’s Hope, our support is personal and centered around each child and family’s individual needs. Every journey with childhood cancer is different, and we believe care should reflect that.
Our main focus is the Hannah’s Hope Kit, a personalized care package sent to children battling cancer across the United States. Each kit is thoughtfully created with comfort items, encouragement, and gift cards to bring joy and support during treatment.
Beyond our kits, we respond to families in meaningful ways whenever possible. This may include financial assistance, hospital visits, or special moments of encouragement and joy for children in the Dallas–Fort Worth area.
Our approach remains the same—to show up with love, compassion, and support in the ways that matter most in that moment.
As we continue to grow, we remain open to expanding how we serve, always guided by the needs of the families we walk alongside.

The Hannah's Hope Kit is a personalized care package created for children and young people under the age of 21 who are actively battling cancer in the United States.
Each one-time gift is thoughtfully assembled with comfort items, encouragement, and gift cards chosen to bring hope, joy, and a reminder that they are not facing this journey alone.
